State Team News
Since
the 2009 shoot year is only 10 months long, some shooters are having
difficulty getting in enough targets to qualify for the 2010 California
State Teams. So we’re adding 2 months to the current shoot year for
purposes of determining our 2010 state teams. In addition, new requirements
go into effect on September 1, 2009 for the 2011 state teams.
2010
State Teams
The
2010 state teams will be based on targets shot from November 1, 2008
through October 31, 2009.
1)
There is no requirement to apply for any team.
2) All registered targets shot, regardless of where, will be used
in determining averages.
3) The Men’s Team consists of a First Team of 10, a Second Team of
10, and an Honorable Mention Team of 10.
4) The Women’s, Junior’s, Sub-Juniors, Veteran’s, and Sr. Veteran’s
Teams consist of a First Team of 5 and an Honorable Mention Team of
5,
5) Candidates must have competed at a minimum of five (5) different
California clubs in at least two (2) different California zones.

Members of the First Teams will receive an award, a pin, and a certificate.

2011
State Teams
The
2011 state teams will be based on the regular 2010 shoot year... September
1, 2009 through August 31, 2010. Changes Effective 9/01/09
1) There is no requirement to apply for any team.
2) All registered targets shot, regardless of where, will be used
in determining averages.
3) The Men’s Team consists of a First Team of 10, a Second Team of
10, and an Honorable Mention Team of 10.
4) The Women’s, Junior’s, Sub-Juniors, Veteran’s, and Sr. Veteran’s
Teams consist of a First Team of 5 and an Honorable Mention Team of
5.

Notes:
(1) When a club loses it’s home-grounds, and throws its shoots at
another club, shooters will only get credit for shooting at that other
club.
(2) The State Shoot counts as a club. It is separate from the Kingsburg
Gun Club.
(3) The State Shoot never counts as your 2nd zone. The KGC Pre-State
does, but not the State Shoot.
